    Options Software

I second hoadley. I love being able to customize anything and everything. Its cheap, and Hoadley has written me back personally with a small problem I had. (Wasn't a problem with the software, Yahoo quotes aggregated the GOOG binaries with GOOG standard options)

12Z GFS today has the northeast around 8 under 10 yr avg for the next couple of weeks, while on fri, it was about 3-4 degrees under. Do a few degrees really make that much of a difference? I trade cash power mostly intraday ; trying to get a grasp on whats pushing term, thats why I ask.

H/J spread on the screen (big ice 2500mm btu/day) just seems to chop around all day. What about making 2 ways all day? Am I delusional? Not that I'm seriously considering it, just kicking ideas around.

I admit, I assumed when they were saying that the options were hit or lifted, that they were correct... Oh well... On another note it is possible to try to use the ISEE feed to figure out whether or not the trade was opening or closing.

Thanks for the whatstrading.com info, I like the trader alert stuff posted on theoptionsinsider.com, but didn't know they had a blog. Also consider http://www.optionsdoggy.com/ For some reason, it doesn't display the posts for me when I go to the main site, now, so click on the "today"...

I think this thread has been very interesting. For what its worth, I'd thought I'd add what little info I have as well :) Since you guys started talking about it, H/J PJM on peak power spread was 1.00 /mw. Saw it go as high as 1.25 earlier this week, didn't glance at it today. Will keep you...

Just noticed these scummy options exchanges charge 1.50 to cancel

Not being able to cancel? Would probably save me some headaches... It wasn't that long ago that I was chasing the offer on some USO spreads on my blackberry while driving... Everytime I would bid to cross the offer, by the time I submitted, it would move on me... Hell of a time.

    COMEX Gold December Delivery

Time to bust out the tin foil hats. If this were big news it would be labeled "breaking news" on CNBC 3 days after the fact :D

Doesn't matter if the pope charges the fees, I don't pay them at the moment so its all the same to me.

Just noticed these scummy options exchanges charge 1.50 to cancel

Simple, go with a firm that doesn't charge the cancellation fee. You gotta pay to play.

    Wire Transfer Only Brokers

Wamu gives free wire transfers, at least they did before they were bought out. I'd double check now as I haven't wired anything in a few months.

Who doesn't bother to at least glance at a chart before you place a trade? The flatline would have been the dead giveaway.
