I think one of the best ways to learn trading is to get any of the top chart reading books and study the chart patterns. Trade everyday and watch the patterns develop in the charts. Eventually your mind will have an easier time recognizing those patterns. To sum it up, the more practice...

Did not trade much today. Only made two trades. I have some things to do this for the rest of the month and next month that would keep me from trading regularly. I'm going to stop posting until I can get back to trading everday.

Hey Hydro, I am suprised you're not daytrading anymore? Have you gotten a full time job and do your swing trading on the side? Good luck on your transition into a swing trading. I plan on swing trading someday too.

Couldn't catch anything after the morning. My PnL always stayed close to this level. The moves after the Fed meeting are bit too wild for me so I'm going to stop trading now.

Did ok today. I am being more selective with my trades these days.

I think I was watching the wrong stocks today. The market is up big but I had a tough time going long in my stocks.

Much better day. Not much churning, no big hits and caught some decent moves.

Better than my last two days. Need to build some more momentum.

I had my biggest loss today. I lost $1164 on my second trade. Got 600 shares of MLM short at 105.56 at 9:50 am and got my balls squeezed. I went market to get out and was filled at the high 107.50 at 10:00am. I also had my biggest comeback. I ended my day down $64.

Going to end my day early. I feel kinda slow today.

Happy with my net so I'm calling it a day.

Did ok today.

Was down close to $500 at one point. Got to slowly work my way up. I was up around $150 and then I got whacked for $300 in a trade. I was trading scared and didn't let my winners run. Otherwise I would have came back and made some money.
