Probably increasing their margin to minimize margin calls lately. They did this a long time ago with the oil futures - and never went back to the intra-day margin rates.

It is kind of ridiculous - but really ALL the canadian oil companies have been slammed just as much as the foreign ones - oil period. When the time to get back in is the hard part....if not impossible. Are you stepping back in anytime soon?

What's your buy area on POT? Are you going to go long eventually? POT really is a spectacular raid. Check out the monthly - spike to the sky, then almost a 100% retracement - i've never seen anything like it.

I agree with you here - about 2 yrs ago I made the transition away from US companies. I've found some solid gains in Canadian companies (lots of resource companies here - and oil), and the emerging 4, from the last 2 yrs.
