The fact is we oil speculators (me) provide a necessary and useful function to society. We provide liquidity for true hedgers and minimize huge price swings for instance. I've heard this anti-futures talk before. It happened years ago when the american farmers were blaming ag speculators...

Scria I thought you cut losses last night? Man this is really bearish - tommorow may even get some heavy duty selling again - maybe even a small gap down. At this point I feel it's exhausted and I can't find a short entry - it's 6.012 now and it's going lower.

Good call on getting out before close. The gap down you talked about happened this morning - it was pretty huge. Today has been a wonderful sell off - I started shorting right from the open. It would be nice if we close below 6.034

You could say that about any trading system. It works but when it doesn't you get killed. The fact is, systems work different for different people...meaning trend may work for one guy because of his style or personality...but would kill another guy. I do agree with what you say about people...
