How will Asian mkts react to China's triple tightening?

I love the fact that US and European equity markets will close at the highs and the bonds at the lows. IF something does rock 'n roll in Asia then that sets us up for some nice moves in the post-expiration week.

Cramer: Stop thinking, just buy the dips!

Just printed this post. I think he's nailed the TOP! At the risk of sounding like another doom-and-gloom ET'er, this market is beginning to feel like it did early in 1987...

30 point dow range since open

I was expecting the short covering to have a more pronounced affect but the only market that's made any real progress since the opening rally has been the small caps. I'll stick my neck out and say we close near unchanged for the day in DJ and SP.

    MASSIVE short covering in stocks.

The shorts include not only those with net short positions but also those that remain short against their benchmarks. One survey that I saw last week from an in-house strategist puts the latter group at SIGNIFICANT levels. These are the funds that will drive the rally. Their "puke" points are...

Interactive Brokers - No AUD interest rate contracts

Actually, I think it IS a question for IB. The CFTC does not approve foreign debt futures contracts. The underlying debt security must be designated as exempted securities by the SEC. The debt securities of Switzerland have been so designated and thus may be offered or sold to U.S...

    Esignal charts freezing

The delays in "backfilling" intra-day charts have been appallingly. I have posted messages on the esignal forum but the response from esignal support staff has been deafening silence.... I did speak with tech support today. He confirmed that they are still having problems resolving the...

Interactive Brokers - No AUD interest rate contracts

When I try to execute an order I'm prompted with a response of "Regulatory Restriction". From your website: http://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/trading/products.php?pdt=FUT&ib_entity=llc You'll see that it says only Eurex(Soffex) equity index futures are available. What will it take...

Interactive Brokers - No AUD interest rate contracts

    (1) Are there any IB representatives available for comment on the above? (2) Also, Is there a reason why EUREX/SOFFEX Swiss Conferederation bonds futures are not available for trading? Not the most active contract in the world but it does have an OI of about 12000 and daily volume of around...

Interactive Brokers - No AUD interest rate contracts

Thanks. Given that AU$ bill futures have been around since 1980 you would think that the implementation into front and back end systems was fairly standardized by now.... Back in 1992 we were booking these trades in an automated lotus 123 spreadsheet.....front office, middle office and...
