Your wording of the question suggests you probably dont know much about data feed structure. why not begin by using the search feature here. There is and has in the past been good discussion on this. Search words like "snapshot", "tick data", IB data",... will get you into understanding...

Why not just back off for awhile. The markets will settle down at some point - days, weeks.... then,when you get a rational perspective on what you see the markets doing you will be less likely to give away more $$$. The hits you've taken are gonna adversly affect your decision making right now...

Virgin ... i use QT with IB feed. No problem. one clk and i can watch t/s fly by real time. Stores in sprdsheet format for dwnload. Maybe just ck vendor websites to ck for this feature.

Agree. Sim of fills probably a very poor representation of what will happen in live trading with limit orders.

I cant think of any yearly fees - maybe someone else can. No platform fee if you do 30$ commish/mo. Use ACH to move funds - cheap. IB has all their fees explained upfront on their website. ... rj
