You realize you bought TSLA option calls on earnings right?
If they didn't crush it your contract would be completely worthless now.
Earnings calls are usually for gamblers.
I stopped following her newsletter a while ago....
It almost seems as if she is lacking the ability to understand stock behavior and buys heavily into companies based on her faith or it fits the design of the ETF
If you do fast trades/scalps esp lowfloat smallcaps then yes, you should probably look into a commission based broker with superior execution.
I wouldn't go with IB unless you supplement it with DAS trader.
A ton of users switched over to Venmo. But I wouldn't short PYPL at these levels. A technical bounce is bound to happen at some point. Perhaps, it may see the low 170's support first.
SQ pretty much on the same boat. They will run in unison.
All but the ones in bold could be adjusted to the type of trader you are.
Personally, I do make trades at 9:30 am from time to time. I trade options so the dynamic is much different if you just trade the underlying. (Def not for newer traders tho.)
Perhaps, that is where better experience and market intuition comes to play which is something that can't really be passed on?
Your threads on here always gives me a raised eyebrow.
Wouldn't it just be simpler to find a scanner for stocks running up then? If the stock goes up so would the options.
I have never heard of an live scanner that can scan percentage gain for options tbh
TSLA always has wider spreads. As for AAPL, I took the 177.50 and 180 calls and haven't noticed wide spread. The 177.50c was a few pennies at best while 180c was always within a penny.
I traded both of these tickers today. (AAPL was choppy AF!)
What makes you think you can simply find a loophole like that?
There is no Canadian broker out there that allows US residents due to PDF laws. Otherwise, an American broker could just open an office at Canada and get a ton of US
customers under PDF rule.
Jeeze! Use google...
Use to be 7x they lowered it after I made a rant on ET! Was charged $500 for one night. Thank god, I did make enough on the short to cover the fee. Perfectly timed the offering to be released the next day.
Learned my lesson to never hold HTB overnight.
