    eSignal 11.5 Releases

They must have read this thread and started sending out the notification for the popup because I didn't get one yesterday. They also added a notification about SP2 in the Forums today.

    eSignal 11.5 Releases

If I'm not mistaken the pop up message appears only when a new version (11.4, 11.5) comes out, and not when a new build to the current version is released as one was on 11 Feb. They used to announce new builds in the Forums. So now you just have to keep checking the download page for new builds.

Options trading outside US, eg. Europe or Tokyo?

There is too little trading in stock options. Efforts are being made to increase trading in stock options but not much progress so far. Nikkei options would be your only choice.

Options trading outside US, eg. Europe or Tokyo?

The Topix options on the Tokyo exchange are almost never traded. Attached is the option chain for Nikkei options traded on the Osaka exchange last Friday from which you can see the volume. Today is a holiday here.

Experienced futures scalpers: Chart or DOM

Hi, I trade off 1 minute charts, and do use a number of drawing tools. While having looked at a few platforms that provide trading on the charts I have always felt that in addition to the drawing tools it just added clutter and /or took up space. I would think that it is just a question...

Thought pattern to stay in sync with the trend?

Thank you. It looks a though you could very well be right there. I trade futures, mainly just 2, so this didn't occur to me. He started out trading futures, being a student with little money. But more recently when the volitility died and he started working he swiched to stocks. I just spoke...

Thought pattern to stay in sync with the trend?

Thank you for the suggestion. However, he started out doing his analysis and creating his setups the old fashioned way, even though I'm sure his programming skills are quite good given his present job. And in fact he did extremely well when he first started out. Since you seem to know about...

Thought pattern to stay in sync with the trend?

Nope. I am not too proud to ask for advice if there is something I want to know. This is about the same kid I wrote about in the following thread almost 2 years ago. http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=215197

Thought pattern to stay in sync with the trend?

Sorry that I wasn't clearer. While he finds a few of his setups each day and trades them (I think he said 1 to 3) there were many more opportunities that he either didn't see realtime due to what seems to be a woods & trees problem, or that he saw but didn't trade which may be caused by...

Thought pattern to stay in sync with the trend?

QUOTE]Quote from J.Joseph: How old are you? ...nevermind, not relevant. I wonder if this question would be better in the psych section. Anyway, here's a psych answer. My generation seems to have a big problem with insecurity. >J.Joseph Over 20 and under 200! Insecurity...

Thought pattern to stay in sync with the trend?

A few years ago I helped a kid who worked at the Starbucks I visit daily to learn TA (price & volume, no indicators). He is now working in IT and his schedule allows in to daytrade. He is doing ok but seems to have a big problem getting in sync with the price movement on the 1 minute charts he...

    An All-new eSignal Launches...

Rather than clicking on today's bar in the daily chart, if you click on the white arrow in the corner of the y and x-axis on the monthly chart, there will be no blank space between this month's bar and the y-axis.

    An All-new eSignal Launches...

Sorry, but I could not have understood from your original post that you were having this problem under the conditions you detailed in this post. If you feel that this is a bug or would like to have a change in the function, you might want to use the Report a Bug or Request a Feature form...

    An All-new eSignal Launches...

I think it's well worth it, but what you need may or may not be included in the program as yet. They keep adding new features and old features from the previous version every 3 or 4 months. You should take the trial and see for yourself if it's worth it to you. Should you not have time for that...

If I understand what your're saying, it sounds as though you have the 'Lock Scale' enabled in the x-axis. It's the icon to the right of Dyn.
