750M sounds like less than 10% of total shares....which means it'll fly most likely............I just need to clear my LNKD memories before playing GRPN....

so I ended up holding 700 shares of MEE overnight position......just found out it gets converted to 1.025 shares of ANR plus $10 in cash. ANR closing price was $53.40 and MEE closing price was $65.14. So this morning, I should have 717.50 shares of ANR at 53.40 plus $7000 in cash. is this right?

LOL you sound like you already had one of those account blowing losses handed to you, which of course you forgot to post deliberately. next time you decide to make a public thread, be ready to take some heat. My answer is no.

I wouldn't be surprised if you posted your first losing trade(s) of -200pips or more...........will you reload if your account gets wiped out?

this is the beauty of the stock market. I know this guy who makes $5M+ year after year(20+ gas stations) and his net worth is something like $45M....and not $3Billion....

i wouldn't try to associate poker with trading....especially if you are trying to improve your trading thru poker. I am a believer in that good traders are good poker players....generally speaking, but the other way around isn't true....

LNKD had revenue of barely over 100M in 2010. Based on current 'pre-open' bid/off of 78-82 after pricing its IPO at $45 should be worth over $8B........LOL
