Im looking to increase my exposure to China and India and I was wondering what kind of US exchange based stocks (any specifics would be appreciated) that I could consider. I know of the ETF's available but would like to look into other methods of increasing exposure. Thanks in advance

Martinghoul, thansk for the reply. That makes sense about the short term end of the curve. Anyone with some of the more accepted reasons for the jump to the 10-30yr part of the curve and being relatively flat?

Guys, still fairly new to financials and the curve, Jsut looking at the curve now it all looks quite flat apart from where it falls away at the 2yr. Any specific reason for the dip down to the 2? Thanks.

T-Bone, not being smart, obnoxious or anything, but these kind of moves arent exactly once in a life time events.... do your homework and youll see it happens more than you think. Often on no or little obvious news (someone always manages to come up with an explanation after the fact though)

That is correct. but as you get closer to expiration you will see Time decay eat your profits until it gets to zero, (if it is out of the money) even if it misses by just 1 tick.

If the previous explanations dont clear it up for you Im not sure that this will, but here goes anyway. When you have an option with time remaining the change in your PL will depend on your delta, theta, gamma, vega and Rho. your position is the option. however once your option expires...

Don, A good basic insight to Dark Pools, but I'm still looking for an answer to this question if anyone feels like jumping in to help. Is the traded volume from Dark pools reflected in regular chart volume? Or is there some extra data feed required to see the volume from Dark pool activity...

Does the Dollar Index have tradeable liquidity in options? Ive tried looking up DX on my TWS platform but not abel to find anything. Am I missing something here? Thanks

Because a lot of people like to use other platforms instead of TWS. A lot of people use automated/semiautomated strategies and just feed it to TWS to trade.

you dont need to look any further than metatrader. Its free. Its a standalone software program, so no Java, its extremely flexible so you can set it up anyway you want and save it. And you can dowload it with free data from a number of brokers for FREE as a demo account. I dont see why...
