    If you're in positions for short time periods on few products you really want to be using the BookTrader. Watch the video on it, it's pretty good.

    Not good if you use volume bars because you can't get any history if you weren't capturing the feed live. Only reason I'd consider another provider. Edit: talking about NT + IB

    That sounds like a great feature and a nice safeguard against bad ticks. You should post this on NT's forum as I suspect you'll get much more help there.

    Possibly try to also attribute what greek(s) accounted for most of the gains. It may be that you're good at earning from long gamma for example and that you'd get more bang for your buck in the long uncovered option than from the spread, at the expense of having more vega risk.
