Farmers are going to crash and burn, especially those who went all corn

they aren't what because corn is down limit today you think that magically will erase the last 3 or 4 months of almost all positive price movement? You do realize that corn is at an all time high and that people were making money at 4 and 5 dollars a bushel right? Corn at 5.50 to 6.00 and...

    Which poker should I learn?

hold em is the most popular far and away probably the easiest to learn. I really enjoy seven card stud and omaha as well. I used to play cards in an illeagal gamblign club and every sunday night we would rotate the table and play dealers choice. (we had actual dealers to prevent cheating) I...

    Stops on ICE Coffee

i might be wrong but I trade coffee quite a bit and what I've noticed is that there is little enough volume for big stop running to tweak your prices by gapping up over and just behaving weird. I have wondered the same thing though man

    Futures Leverage?

Hey Jon one thing that you can try versus trading one big contrac. Is to spread i.e. buying a dec corn selling a july corn. It takes a lot of risk out of the futures game. Spreads can e risky (i.e. Amarnath!!) but they are the only way I trade, you cap profits but you cap risk as well. PM me if...

    OJ/ Coffee Random Musings

Very true shagi called the hell out of that. I havent heard from him for a while. I agree why fight it, but fundamentally we should see a good sell off. The harvest is massive just running late. the more I see coffee behave the more I like it as a market to trade. It retraces predicatbly and...

    Futures Leverage?

one corn contract is 5000 bushels. july corn is7.20 or so a bushel times 5000 is 36 k. futures move so fast and the leverage is a double edged sword. I would agree with the poster above me that you really have to know what you are doing or you will be lunchmeat!
