    Indices could pull back tomorrow

Sounds good! Thanks. Yup, that 1512-1511 area has a lot of support in it @ the moment. Ill be lookin for that area as well. I think there's a good percentage long down there for a scalp. In fact, market has been doing that quite consistantly as well. Take it down early morning and then...

    Indices could pull back tomorrow

Volitility usually leads a reversal. Candle is in as well and we broke through the intraday support into the close. IMO we're going red tomorrow. Anyone else's analysis getting this as well? Break of 1510 will send us sub 1505. Trend edges are ~1520 to ~1510. A/H going to change that...

    Bought YM this morining 13160

LMAO! Best trade ever. Way to go mini..you deserve that one. In actuality, that is the way everyone should be trading. A lot of trading is based on repetition. Repetition brings consistancy, which brings favorable percentages. In reality this was actually a "good" trade IMO.

    Giving Up Trading!

Here's the problem with the guys who lose. They never want to take responsibility for their losing trade. They always want to blame it on someone/something else. That is why most people continue to lose. Until you can think critically of an incorrect trade, you can't change it for the better.

Trade ES or YM for a Living

Exactly my point. That's what I had the "quotes" around the "teach". What I meant was that there's no sound rules on how to teach a person this. Every person is different, and so unless you have a professional to guide you it can be very difficult. On the other hand there are successful...

Trade ES or YM for a Living

Depending upon how big you're trading, commissions are meaningless. If your first comment applied to everyone, no one would be here doing it. :)

    who gives free strategy runner?

I actually disagree with the posters on this thread. There's another way of getting it free. A minimum number of round trips per month can also accomplish this making the broker happy and you happy. Why brokers never offer the free software is because many times the clients never...

    Time and sales

lol i've had to cheat a little and use the SPY T&S as a base. It's ghetto but works alright. I agree though.

Trade ES or YM for a Living

Trading for a living means consistancy. Psychological factors in trading make this nearly impossible for most traders. You cannot "teach" traders this. It's an acquired trait. Having an open mind and a systematic way to "ride" a trade, and at the same time exiting a loser is the key...

    Markets need to correct

Highly leveraged positions are ok but 8/10 traders dont know how to manage those positions. Executions are more prone to failure. I firmly feel that In order to trade a highly leveraged position consitantly, you MUST develop and use a systematic approach in a way in which percentages will...

    Markets need to correct

The thing is there's never a way to put a value on the market. If you assume market efficiency, then IMO you're in trouble. You need to play the market as it is and ignore the psychology behind the numbers. The market demand/selling will push prices. Prices can rarely be used determine...

    Markets need to correct

Average P/E of the S&P index in 1999-2000 was 30+ We're only @ about 15-17ish with much higher "growth". Fundamentally, we're still doin alright. In fact, I think it's going to be hard to kill this trend until we raise rates like we did back then (2000). Right now market risk/reward in...
