Don't limit yourself to "time" either. To me the passage of time is irrelevant; all I am interested in is price.

It is pretty stupid for entertainers to publically express their politics. Pissing off half your "customers" isn't smart. I refuse to watch anything with some actors just because I find their politics disturbing.

I agree elections are a farce but at least the people feel better going through the motions of an election. I am voting third party as I do every election. I know it is pointless but at least I can cast my vote against the two party system we have now.

Absorption. If a large trader wants to buy or sell they can soak up a lot of the market orders and price won't move.

Why? Most trading software doesn't require all that much computing power unless you are running some very sophisticated Algo. If you were running an algo the extra laptops ain't going to help you. You would want a collocated server at the exchange.

I couldn't do that. I have to see the DOM and time/sales. I have to see the numbers on my footprint chart. I like to have a big picture view of the market as well. It ain't going to fit on a laptop to the point I can read the numbers.
