I really dislike feeling like one side of the mkt is taken away from me, the random news (at least randomly released to us) makes it tough to go short because even if your spots are picked well based on a solid methodology, news can easily supercede anything else. I rely on consistency of mkts...

I'd be cautious blindly selling rallies. We are breaking out of a current down trend as we speak, although still in a larger down trend overall.

None. These types of indicators only lead to consistency after the trader has spent countless hours acclimating themselves to them. Indicators on their own, without an experienced trader behind them, suck.

by trading blind I mean the difference between having news accessible in real time vrs not. I dont trade the news itself, but like you said the price action that goes along with it

agreed, I'm just saying that the last 3 days people on here are like "what happened, was there news??" If they had a live news feed going, at least they would know what the catalyst was.
