Don's openings and more for 2005

2 short, 1 long, 1 win, 2 losses, -109 On an opening that should have been kind to shorts, my two held strong against me, and my long did well. Go figure.

Don's openings and more for 2005

Hey at least you're not afraid to post it. I think this thread would be much more useful in assessing how the strategy is doing at any given point in time if more people would post all their results rather than just publishing their big win days. Today 3 fills, 1 win, 1 loss, 1 scratch, +131.50

White House & Capital being evacuated!

Fire drill. Market reaction seems to becoming more and more mild to these types of scares.

Don's openings and more for 2005

Weak week. Monday - didn't participate (son home from daycare w/pinkeye - nice!) Tuesday - system problems right before open kept me out Wed-Thur - no fills. Friday - 2 fills, 2 losers, -410. Citigroup clipped me, GM should have been breakeven at worst, but I played it poorly...

Don's openings and more for 2005

Sometimes you see great opening plays on earnings days, but of course the day you miss news you get clipped instead of lucky. You had a great week last week; the market had to take you down a peg. :D I got shut out today; flattest open we've had in a while.

That scenario gave me the willies just reading it. I'm guessing Lescor got spanked on it too, seeing as he said FNM has given him some recent whacks. I'm sure his account is large enough to weather such uncommon setbacks though. Losing 10K on a multimillion dollar account, while painful, is...

Still, I think the guy should attempt to deal with it privately with Don and allow him a chance to solve the problem before posting it on a public forum. That's pretty unprofessional. If he got the runaround, then fine, go ahead and post.

Don's openings and more for 2005

2 fills, 1 long, 1 short, +102 Actually warm enough to open the windows today. Can baseball and the Masters be far off? Although as a Pittsburgh Pirates fan, perhaps the Masters is the only thing to look forward to...:(

Don's openings and more for 2005

3 fills, 2 long, 1 short, +310 BA was B-Rutal, a humiliating kick in the crotch that soured what was otherwise an above average day.

Another day of non-participation, same as yesterday and much of the last 3 weeks. Looks like you've got to go to Clearwater, Florida if you want fills (Phils). :D
