nonsense! as long as markets continue to form trends (and they will) MA crosses will work. I suggest that whatever you use to confirm it should be completely unrelated to moving averages, like momentum.

the problem with BookTrader is you have to re-configure it each time you trade a different market. Otherwise it's nice. (if i'm wrong let me know how it's done, i've tried) I use Bracket Trader now, where that's not a problem and can be free if it has the markets you want as default.

not! once you're afraid you can't control or master the fear. Read "trading in the zone" by mark douglas for a better understanding of emotions and trading. every newbie (or oldie, lol) should read that book.

the GLOBEX symbol for this cross is PJY... it trades from 5pm to 4pm chicago time (23 hours). why is it closed on IB's TWS, it can't be traded in the evening chicago time on IB? anyone trade other cross futures on CME with IB?

i'm on the US server and asian quotes (SGXNK et al) keep running on TWS here during US maintenance

why prolong (time-wise) your losing streak?! you're just picking up where you left off and gained nothing, but did lose time. the sooner you get it over with the sooner you get back to making money.
