IB sucks. PERIOD! 2 periods. lost 40k in one trade cause those $H!7 heads wouldn't call the Merc to get me out of a position. And the Merc/Globex was fully operational.... just IB had probs. No apologies, no nothing. Big or small they fuck em all.

there are some firms that give you the additional buying power to meet PDT requirement. And you can still trade small, but the extra buying power is in your account. not going to name names but u should know. i'm not a recruiter so don't pm me. but i do trade at a firm that offers this...

go GG!!! my advice.... sell your car. Live very simply. Get a part time job that pays you your living expenses plus an ammount you can afford to lose in the market every month. Once you lose the affordable ammount... stop trading, and papertrade, until the next month. don't listen...
