No matter how much you educate there are still people who will insist on using a dealing desk instead of an ECN. My wall has too many dents in it from me trying to explain the benefits of ECNs but alas, there are still those saying "I don't want to pay a commission". At least take the best one...

Just so you understand something, it is not 5/100k unit lots, but $5/$100k in notional trade volume. If you do a 100k unit GBPUSD trade, the cost per side is currently $10.60 (5 * 2.08). The only retail ECN that I am aware of which charges commission based on units not dollars is hotspotfxr.
