I was able to log into HK. Took about 5 minutes to xfer things around before I did, but I was able to log in. Only trade currencies at present right now with IB so I didn't have globex issues. Don't know if HK had same problem, but by the time I tried I was able to get in.

I have 2 accounts with IB, one on the US servers and one on HK server. When this happens, it is usually not a problem on both servers, so I logged onto HK this morning after TWS went down. Just a matter of going to account management and moving money from one account to another. But IB REALLY...

thx. I was looking for an upgrade, even a pre-existing FIX frontend because that TWS just drives me up the wall, esp when used to a more graphical friendly front end like Currenex or Hotspot. Just might do the job until I can rub something better thru FIX.
