i read the demark book, but i don't use his stuff. i thought that i could expand my pool of stocks (i'm mainly trading in smaller stocks) but found i preferred staying there, and not trying to learn other areas - larger stocks, futures, etc.

there's one huge problem which may have been mentioned, but i only skimmed most of the comments. if your account is 26k, and you have a few stopouts, you're below 25k. and then the asinine PDT rule comes into play. the amount of "5k off of a 26k account" sounds large until you break it...

well, actually, chris byron tends to be very good on things. one of the top biz writers around. however, i found references (independent of the post's coverage) to the same thing, about him being hired by the fbi. which doesn't excuse his negative conduct.
