i prefer the same as well, but after such a hard run, i usually put out initial small positions, on the chance that it runs hard *and* i can't short it later, so there won't be much pain. i put on the size after i see a top in place.

nice nutso run on TEXG. i would have been looking to start my short entry earlier @3.5, adding more at 4.2 (and cognizant of the low float / RS) , but i can't find anyone who allows shorting OTCs like that one...
