NewYork Real Estate - Two 111-storey offices for Manhattan

Oh, I misunderstood. Yeah thats a valid question. I guess in the end its business and companies will set up there if the price is even slightly below other rents in downtown. But something tells me that demand will be high, but just a hunch. Specifically will people WANT to work there? I just...

NewYork Real Estate - Two 111-storey offices for Manhattan

and this is different from the "freedom" tower? I think that argument has some basis maybe a few months after the incident due to the fear of a repeat of 9/11. However the reality is that this freedom tower is no safer.. if not even more dangerous as the concerns of the NYPD were brought up.

    Goldman Sachs predicts $105 crude

Does anyone have the name of the analyst who said oil is going to 105? Or is that the opinion of all the analysts at GS? I guess my main question, is how did this bank get such a good rep.

From poker player to stock trader.

Actually its VERY easy to verify.. But I doubt these guys will step up to the challenge. 1. Let us know your poker name before you sit on a table or tell us what time you will be sitting on a table. 2. And anyone can check their records on www.pokerprohecy.com. It gives a comprehensive...

    CNBC - Cramer's Mad Money

Bulleye? Who was even on that show? I actually have CNBC on for about 12 hours a day, and I can't even remember actually watching that show ever. Was it a show that was based on business?

    Goldman Sachs predicts $105 crude

The problem is that people think that the best of the best are employed at GS. In reality, they are only paid the best. Their calls have been suspect at best for the last few years. But their reputation gets them so much business in M&A and the Fixed Income side, that they can afford to hire...

Funniest thing ever seen at a prop firm

Daytraders for the most part lose their shirt. This is the perfect example. Many of the guys who came in to our firm during the bubble are now broke. Hundreds of thousands down the drain.. and most were in their 20's without an education. Look at them now.. I'm not unique in this case. I lost...

Funniest thing ever seen at a prop firm

Ahhhh brings me back memories.. of the good old EMLX scam. Was working at a daytrading firm in new york, and I can honestly say at least half of us made over 10k that day. But not on EMLX- it was halted at the time. Good old QLGC which dived on the EMLX news and came back just as fast when the...

    CNBC - Cramer's Mad Money

In the history of CNBC there were only 3 anchors that were worth watching.. Dan Dorfman ( the guy who really did move markets), current anchor Ron Insana, and of course, former anchor Emma Crosby.. sigh.
