stupid thing shook me out. its a couple hundred here and there and then 4,500 contracts go out in 5 min. stupid.

trading the NQ, largest vol spike is 645. then all of the sudden 2,000 go out in 30 seconds, then another 1800 and another 1,000. wtf?

I think you are right, but i think to be realistic you have to have your timeframe in mind. If your only holding the trade for 1 hour what fundamental news is going to happen/come out/ have an effect on the price in the time frame of one hour? who knows, but typically it won't be anything your...

My goal is in points, not dollars. I can always add more contracts if i can make a certain amount of points consistently. monetary goals only make you more greedy/fearful IMHO
