I would like to learn more about Opening Orders. So I'm making suggestions to Don. If he decides not to, then believe me...I won't be reading.

sort of...basically if people would ask questions about non-retail firms he would tell them that he could get them a good deal where he worked. I never thought there was anything wrong with it. But then again, I don't maintain/pay for this site.

MArtin- I understand what you're saying. I also do opening orders....and I would benefit from people sharing ideas about them.....I just don't see any point in posting how many winners or losers you have without providing a little commentary about them.

Don- I don't think anyone would object to learning something new. Posting "Entered 10 OO's.....8 winners"....what does that teach? Why don't you talk about envelope settings.....or something else that is actually helpful. Or talk about how to automate it w/ excel or something. The reason...

Don, I didn't see an answer to this question. Is there a point in posting how many open orders you put in and how many were winners/losers? Some people might think you're just trying to promote something. Thanks, Uptik2000

I know a friend who trades in an office (i won't mention the firm, but its not mine) and he seems to have more connection/technical problems than I do. but at least in an office you have someone to toss a keyboard at.

there's also a new version of Sterling that is coming out soon...they make updates all the time. Still has a few bugs, but gets better and better.
