I should probably take back the "no value" part or my comment. What I really wanted to point out is that I find myself using it as a target or waiting till price clears past it or expecting a bounce off it.. things of that nature.

I actually took the 20sma off my screen a little while back. I just didn't see where it added any value. Noticed there is trading activity around the 20sma but you could say the same thing about any number of indicators. Found it was a distraction. I could be missing something...

Same story as yesterday...... No trades. Seemed like the kind of day an expert sct'r could have really had fun with.

As you can see I don't physically annotate ftt's, bo, fbo, wwt(wtf,s) in real time. I just identify (or misidentify) them mentally.

Well, nothing to report today. I Monitored, Analyzed, Decided but never Acted. Didn't pull the trigger on a single trade. First time since I started. Not that I wasn't seeing the market at turning points. I just hesitated. No worries, back at it tomorrow.

On a side note. I take it this is what jack is talking about when he says when volume peaks price can no longer advance. :cool: Not that I use the 1min chart I was just messing around with it.

I did all that last year. When I wasn't trading (didn't even have an account open) and just drawing channels, watching, annotating volume it all made sense and I was confident in how I was seeing the market. Actual trading has been a different story thus far. Just so i'm clear...

PRV and peaking volume are tough to nail down in real time because they can change rapidly intrabar or bar to bar.
