    Trading halted stocks

There's multiple exchanges involved here. Just because one place halts it (such as its primary listing venue) it doesn't mean all trading venues halt it.

198 trades made, no report received and NYSE:" Your case has been closed". What to do next?

So far your case seems to be divided into two parts: 1. "I wasn't executed in a timely manner" but you do not show any tick data/L2 data as evidence. 2. Secondly, there seems to be contractual issues regarding your margin loan secured against your property. For the first part, do you...

I don't understand why a 400K loss on a 3.9M property causes any real issue, unless you had no equity to begin with? Even if you had no actual income, any bank would see that level of equity in a property very favourably and provide a mortgage against that, and pay out your existing loan facility.

4 years trading is still a beginner. It is not moderately experienced at all. You bet our home, on a broker you didn't know, on a market whose characteristics you didn't know (and still don't), with no backup communication systems, no idea of the execution speed of your broker, with a loan...

Your PDF record contains many errors. If you really want to prove it, get a Time & Sales record for the day, your exact timestamps you submitted the order, the exact timestamps they were executed, and the state of the market quotes (aka L2 depth) at time of order, at T+20 seconds and at actual...

198 trades made, no report received and NYSE:" Your case has been closed". What to do next?

It sounds like they did execute your trades, just not at the prices you were expecting. If you were requiring sub 2 second execution, I'm not sure why you were using offshore entities to do this. From the fills you describe, you were trading high-volatility securities, with large leverage, in...

There are plenty of reasons why trades can be executed at prices that differ from the order book of the NYSE Arca (block trades, They can also be executed on exchanges and trading venues other than the primary listing venue too (for example, only 69823 shares of DUST were executed on NYSE Arca...

    any one in hyderabad india

Most of the people that call me from India are from the "Technical department of Windows" or some such fictional entity. It's usually once-a-day now. Is this sort of criminal behaviour now commonplace in India?

Any one trading from Melbourne wanna meet up?

His profile says Australia. Melbourne, Victoria, Australia would appear to be the place.

Looking for end of month data of the Nasdaq100 from 1971 to 1985.

Actually you have somebody's simulation of these items. Unless you know the exact provenance of the data and how they constructed it, it might look nice on a chart but it's all garbage. Clearly the Nasdaq Composite back to 1938 is nonsensical. There aren't any sources for OTC data going back...

    Alternative Data

Anything that affects the balance of buyers vs sellers is an edge. The last couple of posts demonstrate traders who put their time into discovering alpha in unique ways. There's lots more too - think outside the box, and backtest it once you have a statistically valid sample size. If you...

    Trading halted stocks

MOO won't be accepted as this is not an Open. There are no specific order types that deal with halts. The market opens using a "halt cross" procedure. i.e. you just submit orders as normal. During the halt period you'll be able to see the indicative halt cross clearing price. If there's an...

Study: breadth suggests that the stock market's bottom is already in

Umm you've got the divergence bit the wrong way around. When the index makes a new high but the breadth indicator/oscillator/whatever doesn't that's a proper divergence. You can't draw any conclusion about an index and the breadth doing the same (or not) - other than the index is in a short...

Study: breadth suggests that the stock market's bottom is already in

Interesting, but flawed, analysis. They are comparing $NYAD versus $SPX. One is a stock market (and includes listings such as interest rate securities, debt securities, preferreds, hybrids etc.) and one is a market-cap-and-free-float-weighted index that spans multiple stock exchanges. If you...

You do know that the entire Real Estate sector was split out from Financials sector in 2016? There's a whole stack of "income earning" REITs that are no longer part of the Financials sector, so your chart is suffering from selection bias. There were also quite a few Information Technology...
