    Can be done with TradeStation. A buddy of mine does. Me I prefer QUIET!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Other than "order filled" every other sound effect I've muted, especially opening and closing bells.

    No. That kind of thinking is stupid. Hitting your stop loss tells you are wrong, not stupid. Difference. Wrong about what you thought would happen with trade, but right in following what stop tells you. Doubly stupid would be ignoring what your stop is telling you.

    Lost in the weeds. A 700% rise (or whatever it happens to be) is still a 700% rise regardless of the degrees but R Man is right it is steep very steep. As will be the eventual drop.

    Over time it's up ... for some, not all. 2021 is no different than any other year. There are always losers even in roaring bull markets. Activision is just one example currently at the same price it was 4 years ago!!!!!!!! List goes on and on.

    Long only <airquotes> traders need to get over their aversion to short sellers unless they never sell (hold in perpetuity) the stocks they buy. Because selling means they lack confidence in price moving higher at some point, which is exactly how shorts feel. But profit from it, if right. WTF is...
