Gold, Silver, and Indexes Using Price Action

Price for GLD couldn't continue downwards. The SL is intact, however, it is advisable to wake up and start paying attention here. It may be a temporary rise but the first sign of some demand in vicinity has shown up. Notice the higher volume drop a few days ago. Now we had a possible test...

Now is the tricky part. Close to potential S. Break below congestion. What to do? Fear? Confusion? Too many thoughts? Get back to to SL/DL. 10:31: Price ended our suspense and went back.

What's the big deal about it? You at least know what you are looking at and can always come up with more suitable plans. It's when it's not even clear what's going on it's hard to know what to do. Better buckle up for the new year.

That's where personal preferences come out. I prefer to exit if breach of DL close to S or potential S. In the middle I let the LSL and 50% play out. Partial exits are way cooler. It's like the James Bond of trading. Gringo

Considering it was potential S and price bounced getting out isn't bad. When there isn't an S around then 50% or LSL are ok. Price isn't continuing down here. So whoever is in so far could secure profits.

1009: Considering possible S here I'll won't give price much room to wrangle the profits out of me. Around 28 is 50% more or less. Haven't seen much conviction from demand so far. Except of course the SL break.

You're getting slow for us Db :D. 0959: 31 might be the 50% level. 1000: We have a beautiful SL as well.

Notice how wide and weird the hinge looks right now. After an hour or so this will all look so obvious in hindsight. The hinge will be smaller and petite and so easy to spot. 0945: Is this a BO to the upside? GLD: Gold made a lower low but hasn't been able to continue down. I will have...

    How to be patient

I would add that perhaps the reason for impatience is not having a written plan with defined entry and exit criteria. Some impatience is understandable but persistently recurring bouts of it may mean lack of properly tested plan and/or lack of trust in it if there is one. Gringo

    Is The Gold Market Manipulated?

What difference does it make whether gold or silver are manipulated? Price of anything going up or down is due to the effects of supply and demand. Whether it's governments that are selling, or large organizations, or perhaps powerful individuals is of no consequence. The fact that price is...
