I hold 10k shares and I'm not happy

Today AMC share price opened at 11.72. In a matter of 5 minutes, trading was stopped twice on the way to 16 when the announcement was made that TDA is restricting trading of the shares. From that moment, the price dropped from 16.56 to 10.45 in a matter of 45 minutes while halted again twice...

Yeah, that's exactly what they did!

News just popped that RBH and TDA are restricting trading of AMC. On what grounds? Of course price is dropping. I certainly hope that a class action lawsuit comes out of this nonsense, including circuit breaking the share every time it move up or down a dollar

Wtf... they halt for a $1.5 move! I don't understand those triggers... Looks like every $2 move triggers the freeze...

At least rich by Friday and probably crying by next week.

Funny you say that, I ended up in the hospital a couple of weeks ago after slicing my little finger with a very sharp falling bread knife... had to have both nerve and artery stitched back together and 17 stitches to close it up...so, no, I don't have hands of extremely hard material :(

AMC is going to be hot Friday, already hitting 21 at 7:00 am. Got 10k shares for a 7 rise to finish the month gloriously. :D

To put it mildly. They had to be rescued to the tune of 2B+

I don't have enough hindsight to know if this is revolutionary or simply recycled rebellion using new tools. However, from my perspective it's a well needed and deserved kick in the butt and wallets of those who think of themselves as untouchable puppeteers.

When share price goes up 3-400% in a couple of days, you don't need many work days to bring home the bacon... 1 a Q at most.

These Reddit guys are like the Antifa of the market, pooling resources and going after the big shorts of wall street, the bottom feeders who made careers and wealth from sinking struggling businesses. And they are succeeding! Of course, when the adrenalin drops and the hangover hits after...

Bought 500 shares at 240 at 7:00am, watched it climb to 273 then drop to 200... and climb back to 248 at 9:15 when I gladly sold. About 2 minutes later the price climbed to 385. :banghead:

Looks like they triggered a breaker because it froze at +247.58%... Nope triggering up and triggering down..wtf, let me make some money!

These guys are the market's revolutionaries. Pulling their resources to fk with the big hedge funds is genius! It's not going to end well...

If you know about trading as much as you know about the flow, or supposed lack of, investments in China you might consider doing something else.
