Who plans to get the covid 19 VACCINE when it comes out

Its been pretty clear from the very start that there were two main dangers of covid - 1. risk to vulnerable groups due to ease of transmission - includes anyone over 70 and anyone chronically ill or obese 2. risk that hospitals would be overwhelmed by covid cases requiring oxygen therapy...

Who plans to get the covid 19 VACCINE when it comes out

I haven't done much research into the effects of smallpox vaccine but already information suggests that the number of deaths resulting was way less than thousands. Where did you find this? If its fair to post anecdotal evidence, then I can add that all the vaccinations I have had have been 100%...

Who plans to get the covid 19 VACCINE when it comes out

I'll be straight in to get my vaccination as soon as I get the call. Never had this one before obviously but so far the vaccinations I've had show a 100% success rate. On top of which all the diseases I have had are ones I was not vaccinated against.

Hawaii offers free trips for digital nomads

Lack of challenge / activity / structure in life outside the salary job is a major problem. Its maybe why retired people make up work - grandparents seem to be the busiest people on the planet - many retired folk end up working harder for voluntary organisations than they did for salaries. All...

What else to learn in technical analysis apart from indicators ?

A pattern which ironically even expert and successful traders appreciate least is the simplest one - trend. It is the one that pays most consistently and best with least risk. Unfortunately, many traders never seem to want to get beyond the ability to say, Yes this is a trend / No this is not a...

    New to Forex Trading

Thing is, demo is easier to trade and make a profit, but demo accounts are not unrealistic. Making a profit on demo is only a starting point - but if you fail to be consistently profitable on demo, definitely do not go live.

Hawaii offers free trips for digital nomads

Saw a light-hearted documentary on TV the other day showing Brits who had taken up special work permits introduced by Barbados to bring in digital nomads during covid work-at-home restrictions. One guy was actually working on his laptop in a hammock on the beach.......

Do you think this is the truth about day trading?

Day-trading gets a bad reputation because its heavily promoted to the ignorant, who jump straight in and never get to take it seriously. But bad reputation doesn't mean bad by nature.

Uber ditches effort to develop own self-driving car

If you've ever driven in the UK urban environment you'll have realised that driver-less cars is the most impractical idea ever invented. On the other hand, they could be introduced pretty quickly though if they ran in dedicated traffic-free pedestrian-free lanes or routes. But they will never...

Are there more risks with indices?

Indices are far less risky than trading individual stocks. But the other side of that coin is they move much less over a given period of time. Indices are generally not forced into sudden contrary moves they way a share price can be, for example by M&A or fraud rumours/news, or by a competitor...

1/4 billion workers' strike in India

India's a complicated country, but punching way below their weight. 2nd in population, but only 6th by manufacturing output, 6th by GDP, 35th by power usage, 80th by freedom from corruption, 125th by life expectancy, 128th by adult literacy etc. etc. Yet a respectable(?) 5th by military...

1/4 billion workers' strike in India

India is in fact another failed socialist state to add to the list. Its on the road towards a western-style society but just because people can vote does not make it comparable with the the US, the UK etc., its many years away from being a full democracy, if it ever reaches that point.

What currency is less risky to keep as base?

To find my current preferred pair for trading I look at the 50EMA slopes on the D1 chart at the latest close. As to whether this is upwards or downwards it will be therefore either bullish or bearish for the base currency and bearish or bullish for the counter currency. As each of the 8 major...

    Question on support and resistance

As above, s/r levels are only confirmed as s/r levels when price confirms them by moving through or rebounding from. Its rarely a high probability trade to buy something in the hope it will go up: higher probability comes from buying it when it is already going up: maybe set a buy order well...
