surf ... I do not think your prediction will come true however gold so far this yr is not showing much " oomph" perhaps it gained to much relative to other things last yr and will underperform other asset classes in 2009 :cool:

better for one to understand order flow in various time frames accross the financial universe than looking for the ultimate safe-haven ( which some folks call gold ) :cool:

if you trade smaller, use wider levels to get in an out, and pay more attention to the headfakes going on at this time of yr you still have a chance to make good money instead of losing it :cool:

anyone trading gold for ticks these days better be willing to get the #$%^&* out of his or her position just as quickly as they scalped their teeny profit or be willing to hedge at fav levels with something that correlates gold ( there is more than one instrument in which to do this )...

whatever you do please start small trading or investingwise if you start big ... there is a good chance you will be small ( acct wise ) these markets are at extremely nuts at present good luck :)

at times all markets are "rigged" but if you can read the tea leaves ( order flows ) and are careful with your risk intraday ( esp. now ) you can make a good living trading the p.m. complex :cool:

as much as I wonder what if any of the "big guns" in HF world will shut down more than they have in recent weeks I tend to think it is more important for an individual trader to focus on how to make money ( and not lose money ) in these volatile times than worry or gloat about...
