I just realized some CTA's and probably some IB firms and or HF's must have a portion of their assets in funds that might even have opposite positions to their main one's core positions wonder which of those has less slippage week to week etc :p

how much of this is related to DB having to reduce their AG exposure vs the weather fundamentals and or quant tech models used by the "clueless" to buy or sell because of some predetermined price level ? heck wheat is even being regarded as NATTY's long lost cousin at these prices...

surf ... could you please ask around ... and find out why gold is so strong ? is it following silver or platinum or the suisse ? I just do not think that its going higher because it "broke out" of a chart pattern or because some hedge funds are "long to the gills" :p
