this is getting out of hand you cannot "flash 100 or 500 or 1000 etc and not honor your quote in commodities / futures markets there should be a rule the more contracts shown the more seconds or minutes you have to be willing to buy or sell at the price you are "spoofing" or...

a commodity is moving up and down as if it was the most liquid forex instrument in the world ? in the last few days I have been seeing some of this. and although I applaud the parties involved with keeping an orderly market I ask them and the world why can't they do this all the time...

in my opinion there has to be more than one prop trading house or bank etc who tries to "gun for the stops" and use "god forbid" spoofs / flashing of size and whatever else they deem nec.. to make a buck in whatever market "sandbox" they play in hopefully in yrs to come the playing...

nice to see some "buying" today in some of the AGs methinks however those people who have been shorting the beans will have to reconsider their "agenda" next week :p

there are plenty of markets that are "down huge" compared to equities these past few days , weeks , months any idea why the brillant "quant" models out there have not been screaming "buy em " ? :p

the cftc should charge any firm(s) doing this extra commissions I used to think that the exchanges sometimes fined firms in certain derivative products for their abuse of this practice ( i.e. entering orders and then cancelling them ... esp when showing size on either side ) lets...
