    any option sellers

Selling premium for a small trader may as well be doubling up in the underlying as price moves against him, with the assumption of future reversion. Same game more or less.

IBKR is on the move today and guess what? It aint up

Agreed. The range of products and ease of integration rivals a lot of insto offerings, and is unmatched by any retail broker. Not that they're perfect. Just better then anything else out there in terms of multi-asset multi-market DMA.

    AutoTrading 500+ instruments

Spend a year learning someone else's framework. And frameworks on top of frameworks for the sake of frameworks. This is not algo trading, it's software architecture fetishism.

Nothing wrong with that. Looking at it a certain way, I am on the synthetic short vol side of things a lot of the time, although only as a side effect of some passive order sizing, supporting a few specific microstructure games.

Not that it matters, but none of this is hard to do in C#. If it appears to be hard, then you're doing it wrong.

It can be done easily through IB, but it's not especially fast. So, send your biggest orders first.

Machine designed strategies. Do they work?

The equity curve looked like commissions were missing. Looks like the entire post has disappeared now.

    Short Restrictions and Market Makers

Yes, but it is still stupid. - The stock is falling. - I want to short it, but can't. - So, I buy a put. - The MM is now short the put, and likely delta hedged with naked short stock. The stock still gets sold short naked, it's just via the MM.

    My option trades

Not marketing. Far from it, & I disagree about the binary part. They're essentially swaps for retail. Just thinking about apparent leverage without stop slippage specifically. The CFD provider would seem to be kind of selling vol, by taking on the slippage / gap risk. Edit .. so...

    Laughable. Pay any commissions?

    My option trades

Slightly off topic, and related to a product that I don't really know .. "Leveraged CFDs with guaranteed stops". Just wondering if these things can be viewed as long ITM options. Edit: And if so .. there's a vol trade somewhere [?].
