I am not being cynical I just need to hear the opinion of an actual user of the software. Do you feel X_trader is worth $650 per month? Does it make that much difference in your trading?

How much data (months, years) is being covered? How many trades per day on average? Does the system trade every trading day?

I upgraded a P2-400 win NT system to a dual processor win NT system. The processes went without a hiccup. Re-installed the service packs and she hummed along. Windows 2000 shouldn't be a problem, either.

So true. I am more interested in using spread strategies in other ways other than purely as a seasonal play. Just because a seasonal spread has worked 15 out of the last 20 years doesn't mean anything to me. It's just another form of curve fitting results in order to find the system ...

Isn't the CME trying electronic trading with other traditionally pit traded products like lean hogs and japanese yen? It doesn't seem to be working for those markets though.

I found myself trying to make sense of these numbers trying to find a short term indication of price, but it was an exercise in futility. Now I use a different strategy for entry/exit signals. I got nowhere, maybe someone else can get something else out of what you're referring to. :cool:

Risk is universal. Bears who get short into the resistance areas have less risk, though.

If you're so sure its going down, why not sell calls.

Yes, I am a scalper that uses trendlines which are drawn on very short term chart, not a daily chart. The rally, trading range or any indicator that I use would be based on that same short term time frame. I keep a chart of the longer term time frames with associated trendlines also. What...
