software wasn't a problem for me it was more an issue of internet, right at announcement i went short 3,000 CFC @ 27.95 literally about 5 sec later internet went out, thankfully i covered +.90 but i was in total disbelief at the worse possible time my internet went down

25k is definitely enough to trade off of and live, but your account won't grow any, i went fulltime with about 40k but didn't really have any expenses tho.

one way to capitalize is short regional S&L's (DSL, FED, CORS....),homebuilders that focus on lowerpriced moveup buyers/1st time buyers......this debacle will of course lead to tighter lending standards and higher rates as the risk premium demanded will be higher....spreads on the commercial...

ameritrade routes through sbsh so fills are usually pretty good

abwatley pretty good, i pay 2.95 a trade with them tho not too many routes with omnipro realfasttrade got more routes but their software(dastrader) sucks, i pay 4.95 with them all rates are flat for unlimited shares unless of course you are using an ecn. one thing i like about both tho...

nah usxp most likely would be halted and trade on grey sheets if that happened like BCIT
