as far as index values go a few pennies means nothing... the big deal is your long and short rate and dividends... i calculate the values myself... esignal pumps all the needed data via dde... i just use indexarb.com to make sure i am close... openings are becoming much more of a...

probably the easiest way to trade is to buy atm call or put verticals at least 6 months out.... premium is built in for time and the volatility is almost nill... the farther out verticals are cheaper than those with less time remaining... the only caveat is that you have to have a long...

dougcs are you saying to stay out of the opening and then jumping in as they reverse.... is this to avoid the oo draw down.... i am not sure what you are asking... i have seen that too...that they trend troughout the day...

6 fills / 800 shares each 3 long / 3 short -170.00 -.75 / +.75 % nyse filled my stop 46 cents worse than stop trigger...so much for fair and orderly.... systems says p&l would have been +1328.00 if i has waited till 9:00 am to exit... i should have slept in... dow arb was also...

the value of ym over indu or dia for that matter is based on interest and dividends... the ym / dia spead is based on that.... the arbs trade spy/esu5 vs dow using dia, ymu5 or stocks back and forth....whatever has more edge...if any if a large order skews in one areana the other...

closes are pretty much d.o.a.

i use esignal dde links and i bot extra symbols... i monitor almost 1000 symbols so it depends on where you go... sorry neotick..:(
