Grail - I have to agree with you here. That's fine, they do not like to short and won't. When the markets go down, as they always do, they can sit and watch their $ disappearing as we take it.

Mini - I am sure we could find many of pro's that have blown up accounts going long as well. I don't see the reasoning here. It's like another poster said - if you are willing to risk 2 points on a long, why not risk 2 points on a short as well? The amount of being risked is IDENTICAL.

Why is shorting 'risky'? There is the same amount of risk whether you go long or short - you may win or you may lose either way. This is exactly why the markets plummet when they head down and fast - all the longs panic and have no idea what to do! So, actually, it's probably best if...

Lamont - how exactly do you define when a 'trend reverses'. If you wait too long, you get a terrible exit, if you are quick to pull the trigger you may exit during a consolidation period. Curious how you know when the trend is reversing.

I should have clarified - I do not use TS for order execution. I love the platform that I am using now - it's newer and a TT knock off. As for charting, that's my problem and that's where I need some suggestions.

Just a suggestion! If nothing else, it would probably save you some time. Drawing those 'arrows' cannot be easy! I'm not much better, that's why I bought SnagIt. It's pretty nice for all it does.

The EC data on TS has been wrong recently on many occasions. Today was just 1 example.

Anyone else reading this trade the EC? Have you seen the EC charts recently on TS? Just now (10:45am EST) - it looks like there was a 50+ tick move down all of a sudden and then snapped back. Wait, that didn't really happen though... What is going on at TS???? Anyone from TS lurk...
