it would widen and thin out almost all markets because it would cripple most spread traders- and i believe the 10$ would be on the in and the out making it 20$ RT tax. think about trying to spread yield curve with those taxes... if you think there is a debt liquidity crisis now... just hold on...

it's better to make a mistake than do nothing- you can work your way out of a mistake profitably... if you do nothing its impossible to make money.

depends on if you want to make money now or throughout the day- for me if i'm willing to do -3 / +3 if it gets near and hits me i'm happy. i mean there was a reason i was willing to do those prices to begin with and hopefully that reason holds true

today was actually a shitshow at the end- 3 errors in less than a minute that somehow ended up making money first left an order in that got filled while he wasn't paying attention then when he went to scratch he doubled down on the position instead of taking it off then when he went to take...

we'll screw ourselves by becoming too dependent on rolling over our debt at yields manipulated too low. our rollover risk is going to go through the roof- and when our day of reckoning comes watch our yield explode like greece- from 4% to 80% 2yr paper in less than 4 years... we'll make that...

this has been fun, risk-adjusted august was my best month trading ever (too bad june was my worst ever, but at least i've made it all back already) hope everyone else is enjoying the fun

also there is a bit of a ping trading us markets from europe- i trade treasury futures and notice a difference between the suburbs and downtown chicago

i don't understand what is bad about this... so many people have programs set to front run orders when big bids or offers come in... so someone makes an order to show a fake bid or offer (which can still be filled since it is on the market) then all of the front runners get triggered into action...

na a seat lease is somewhere around 800$ / month and it saves 50 cents per RT in fees... so 1600 / month is break even which is even less than 100 RT/day. yeah i just trained a friend of mine to trade and he's going to start trading real money next week and we are starting him off w/a lease...
