beating a dead horse (i'm the dead horse).... ES at 6.30: 1179, now 1178.75 DAX was 6574 now 6593 wtf. same same currency. i don't get it other than pure manipulation.

CAT gives up most of it's gains, ES pulls back a point, DAX makes new high after new high. unfuckingbelievable.

anyone else watching the propping up the dax is seeing vs the ES. cannot pull back even 10 points. volume comes in on the bid. currency drops, DAX sets new highs. ES fails to break out, DAX.... new highs. no pullbacks, just relentless. 75 defended, then raises to 76. somebody wants to see 6600+

well, if the German and Eurozone number miss bad enough we may see 6625 on a spike. good new= buy bad news= buy more, QE is on the way.... can't figure out if i'm not smart enough for this market, or not dumb enough.....

once again, China gives a head fake and looks like it's going to end positive. more troubling is EUR.USD. hoping for a failure at 1.40, but if it blows through it the 6561 area in the DAX will get plowed thru and seems next stop would be 6625. seems obvious where to put my stop, but i don't want...

took gains at 72.5 looking for bounce and got too undisciplined and reshorted sans any signals at 91- afraid to miss out whilst telling myself we're gonna see new daily highs and maybe even go back and test 6525 or 50. lack of discipline- my downfall as a trader. still think there is room...

why do i get the feeling that with the turn around in China and the jump in the ES that the overlords controlling the DAX will open it higher?!?!? i was in a better mood at 4pm EDT!

thinking the same. trying to take solace in recalling/hoping we have a repeat of last time. recall the last high for the DAX it shrugged off the ES same and then finally capitulated down over 200 points one day. i'm fine with a repeat of that, say.... today.

i soooooooooooo hope you're right. i generally don't do trades that carry over more than a day (unless i'm on tilt, of course!); but i've resisted the urge to take profits and move on- looking for a bigger move. like i said, i hope we're right.

well, it looks like we all held shorts overnight. i'm short from 6519 (a blind shot when i was away from my computer thinking (haha) if it got up to the 52 wk high it would fail- wrong! it's so st overbought, but could still test 6625- hoping the current ES quote will put me into the black...
