Never understood why people say trading the open is so hard. Most days on ES, it does the same old stuff. Oversold and support at the open. Hit the double ledge resistance from pre-market on declining volume at the highs. Same ol' same ol'.....Rinse and repeat !

exactly, don't mind the big range bars as long as they can back and fill so i can get in. but had slam downs on big risk is not my cup of tea

Don't like them either b/c it means the institutions aren't in control due to lack of volume. Throws my system out of whack. Took a small profit scalping and done. Gotta know when to quit and when to press

Hate it when I beg for more volatility and get it, but my entries take on too much risk so i have to pass on all these easy winners. Very frustrating.

you dont have an edge using them b/c the edge is in the profit taking area, not in the entry.
