traded like shit this morning by not sticking to my system but managed to dig myself out to about breakeven. I took a break and came back sticking 100% to my system and lo and behold I'm £226.81 up. Total balance is £5600.06. Might stop for the day as I am off work on monday so can pay full...

Think I'll call it a day. Made 2 trades on crude to take my account to £5373.25 after a P/L for the day of +279.58. Best part for me is that every trade I've made in the last 2 days has followed my system to the tee and every one was successful.

Its not very big tick wise though, the ATR must be in the region of a coupel of $ on crude?

Topped my account up to £5k as I felt I needed to decrease risk and I couldnt really reduce position sizes as already at a minimum. Made £92 today from 2 trades, 1 on SP500 and 1 on crude.

My advice would be withdraw your $5k and play with your $171. Or at least lower the stakes so it's still real money but not enough to get too emotional. Then when you can handle that and stick to your system or methods then gradually increase the stakes..

How's everybody going today? I'm about breakeven, maybe £10-15 up. Made 1 profitable (60 tick) crude trade and I have a sizeable position on the SP500 emini which is down a little but should have room to breathe.

eh? My account isnt down to 54 quid! :D I had £1000 at the start of the day and now it stands at £1074.
