I use IB's Book Trader or the Total View screen to enter trades. No reason for me to use Quote Tracker to input trades as the IB options work fine for me . The key to using TWS is to configure your Hot Keys .

I know how often they are down and when , I trade with them . Overall they are very reliable . I have used other brokers which I will not name that have had more down time and worse issues then what I saw today .
