it all depends on which broker your dealing with and what you are trading. i think IB also charges commission for API usage. but im under 25 so i get charged 3 bucks which is not bad. however, it is possible to overcome this..... kinda dirty way but its been done before just...

i've searched and found some similar situations, but if we trade currencies other than the ones that are not in our base account, ex. GBP/JPY , I do not have to worry about converting it back into USD ? is there an automatic function that does this form in the IB platform ?.....its taking...

how much premiums are you paying per contract. do u buy ATM, or out of money? Also, what about expiration date is common? i dont look to writing contracts...you would need balls for this. im confused to as how options on futures are calculated...

are there any people with experience trading options on futures? how about some of the compatible brokers listed on the CME website.
