The ES did not clear that 911-914 zone until 3:56-3:57pm. So late in the day to act. Seems like this re-balancing must have played a big role in that late move.

Does anyone ever hedge with ES futures, such as watching your total position delta and when it gets up to +-50 (or less, maybe 25 makes you comfortable), sell/buy an emini?

This system, like many, will get killed in sideways markets and work in trending/big moves.

If it was the other way and you could sell the SSF and buy the stock then you might be on to something..
