Murray, Thanks for sharing your bullish outlook. Any entry or stop loss strategy associated with the target of 50?

Short and sweet. 1) This is not a trading recommendation. My trading ideas might lose you money, and I have no idea if you know how to manage risk. This thread is for informational purposes only, and I am not in any way responsible for any losses that may occur as a result of you reading...

    Murrica's Outlook: Nasdaq & Russell E-mini's

For /NKD, I would widen things up to 13,000 as a key psychological support level. /NKD has been a very clean, very accurate beast at the key support levels these past few months, yet I am still open to possible resumption of shakeout games at these levels.. thus widening risk to 13,000 for the...

These support levels were good guidelines.. however, the lesson learned is to always be aware of when the continuous chart will roll.. this could have helped me identify support well in advance by extrapolating based on the future month's data that was to appear Sunday on the continuous charts...

    Murrica's Outlook: Nasdaq & Russell E-mini's

Well, my first post in this thread was August 5, 2013. I was bearish at that point. Analysis != Trade Management Strategy != Being a good trader Looking at /ES daily, we are likely at or near a low.. plus with /NKD near the bottom of the super clean bullish/(bearish) falling wedge, my...

    Silver idea(s)

This is the part of my trading that I need to improve. Entry and risk management are dependent on the analysis (in this case, "at or near resistance") and being a trader is a completely separate thing altogether. Trading with a style that has discretionary components with regard to trade...

Good points. This doesn't look particularly high probability. Yes, 22.5 or so would be a short term target. However, in terms of target, my plan (generally) is to monitor a winning trade to determine (based on the price action) if there is a good place to reverse a winner to long (or simply...

Based on current standard margins in TOS for /SI, you will need $15k per contract to meet the initial overnight margin requirement. I recommend allocating approximately $80k per contract to trade such a beast. Good trading to all.

This post is not a trading recommendation. And, my calls tend to not work just enough to be painful to your equity. Therefore I must advise you now to not follow any trading 'calls' in this post and/or thread. There are no trading recommendations here, merely ideas for informational purposes...

    Murrica's Outlook: Nasdaq & Russell E-mini's

Well, we reached a high of 13790 on /NKD, and did not clear 13800 before heading down from below resistance. For the morning session coming up in Japan, watch ~13100 - 13110 and ~13140 - 13155, as both are clear support levels for /NKD.

Whoa. Support /ZF looks like 119'072 - 080. Support /ZN ~123'180. /ZB retest down to 130'00 - 130'10. Will watch the above for signals on /UB. edit: also watching for poss. dbl. btm. on /ZT ~119'245-250.

Thanks for the input. Part of my strategy, however, is to not chase breakouts. Any PAG's (Price Action Guru's) have input on objective methods here? Thanks, murrica

Sounds good, but asking respectfully: Given that I am looking for longer term swing-trades, what strategy would you employ here for identifying an entry? Again, asking seriously as my strategy has always been to try to get in at the fringes.. obviously there are pros and cons to such a...

    Murrica's Outlook: Nasdaq & Russell E-mini's

I apologize for not seeing the parallel support, and therefore for being off by 6 ticks. Was looking for a touch to 13200; we hit 13230 instead. Looking at resistance coming up just beyond 13800 in the coming days for the obvious falling wedge.

Small hunches are not worth a lot. And, I apologize for being off by 3 ticks from the low.

This is a very embarrassing oversight, and a clear indication that I have not done sufficient homework. Simply put, I am too engrossed in reading the charts and interpreting news for (often contrarian) signals, and have not spent nearly enough time understanding the products themselves, even on...

While this trade idea is working thus far, and while the chart itself looks pretty decent for a move from here to 140'00 and beyond in the short term, it is likely wise to await the outcome of FOMC at 2PM EST from the sidelines. For the meeting and the hours that follow, support levels go all...

which version of Win 7 should I install ?

A latest generation SSD such as an Intel 520, even for the boot drive, will likely offer a superior general computing experience under W7 (and most OS'es).

    Murrica's Outlook: Nasdaq & Russell E-mini's

We are near critical levels on /NKD: The 13175-13200 range (in the next 24 hours) should offer decent support, if we get down there. This is not trading advice nor a trading recommendation. You are responsible for your own trading decisions and risk management. Good trading to all.
