    Question for Grob/Hershey...

Hopefully this should resolve most problems some of you are encountering. I tried to idiot-proof it as much as possible... Be sure to completely shutdown excel and open up a brand new excel application before opening this workbook (for technical reasons). Kind Regards, MAK

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

Believe it or not, the statement is more concise and elegant than most people can percieve. I could not have made a more concise statement. Least connectedness (multiple INDEPENDENT fractals), loop fibrillation (whipsaw), operating point (non-random market presumption), etc... You of all...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

Elegant solution. Well done... Tiny technicality, for you IB folks, make sure when you do the above replacement that you use B19 with the "=" sign. The other two should be without the "=" sign. The rest should just pipe along... If there is concern about synch, the atomic clock solution is...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

Also just a detail in case the NQ looked more spotty. It is due to the tick change that occurred within the dataset, for some of the more keener folks who may have wanted to jump on my case. The 0 volatility bar is also correct. Where else would that bar occur except in VDU... I'm sure there are...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

YM... My observations are a bit different than the stats but then again, these are on the 5M and not the 2M from which we gather our data... Hopefully, you all are getting the jist of how these tools can be used and calibrated for any instrument... They take roughly 3 minutes to put together...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

LOL... I didn't even know this attachment existed... RRRRRRRR.... Grob, once again, I find myself many moons behind you on the same path... Kind of curious why no one has referenced this attachment which had been posted long before I arrived in ET. Swap the STR and SQU since we are in LONG...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

Irl... Your logging appears to do a couple of things which I deam to be reversed. First it identifies the state (ie. STR/NEUT/SQU) THEN it looks for critical values. On the log you posted in question, there was a SQU which was a -11 (ie. an extreme value even amonst your set of extreme...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

Attached you will find a small table I have built regarding pace settings. As usual I will go through my thought processes. In PV, once I jump on the right side of the market, I am then specifically looking for volume to carry the current B/A pair away from my entry pair. It is my strong belief...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

You can run as many as your CPU can handle. With the IQFEED version, I run 3 PRV sheets sometimes. I'll run a 5M a 15M and 45M on occasion. At some point later today, I'll take a look at the IB versions. I have IB DDE code somewhere, it was extensive and I am looking for a stripped down/gutted...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

Your ordeal is the classic problem of why anyone should feel they are owed an answer. I had to learn the hard truth of the matter that in fact I do have all the answers to my own questions. It may take alot of time to get to the answer, but I am very thankful that there is a way of getting from...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

Tall orders are tall orders. This is why I am sometimes reluctant to post tools simply because things quickly become, "this is a good start but it would be better if ...". Seeing how you have not seen this tool in action, your presumptions are unfounded. DOM and PRV have no direct relationship...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

LOL... Judging from the PM's I get, I doubt it. People are too lazy to go thru the thread... However, yesterday you nailed it right on the head. For alot of things we do, you have to use pairs of items. With rockets, it is necessity to wash when the rocket FAILS. Sometimes what alot newbs...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

I am waiting for the day that we can quantum tunnel large groups of molecules. It would cut down my commute time by many orders of magnitude. In any event, the pace settings listed on the sheet are not tuned. I just punched them in as a rough measure (ie. good enough type of thing). Regards, MAK

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

Using a 5M reference frame, you can see that the current 6 bars are being used. For me, I usually only need the last 2 bars, sometimes 3. So, I usually crop the app to show the last 3 bars on a screen that is to the LEFT of my NOW SCREEN. The layout of that screen is not important so I won't be...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

So a couple of items. At the present moment the tool is IQFEED DDE specific. However, it is built in a way to support any DDE capable data feed. You will just need to specify the syntax. Only two pieces of syntax is required and the 6 setting values for pace. To customize for your datafeed...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

And here we go... There's 15M left so I am doing a quicky post on this. Just finished polishing the tool... Gonna walk through the configs soon thereafter. The pace settings are temporarily configured and needs to be tuned... I will get to that also... Regards, MAK Sometimes I even...
