    you boys and girls in the USA are 300.000.000, china has 1.300.000.000.... So an average doestn tell you all :-) lets say 10% in China are healthy man, that are 130.000.000, ad lets say 25% in USA are healthy, that are 75.000.000 you understand what i mean?

    the ES is slow now for 2 or 3 weeks. you will note that when a bigger trend is changing, like in 2008, the market gets choppy... so lets se what happens... EUR is 95% trending and moving well, dont understand why not more traders are trading it....

    Need platform recommendation for IB

    I am using Ensign software as charting package. Hard to beat . only problem you cant trade from the software. As trading tool i use ZeroLineTrader perfect for fast trading, easy and has all what you need.

    can you open an account with 2000 $?

    daytrading rule (25k) is for options and stock etc. NOT for futures and forex. IB has a delayed demo account for non account holders (look at the website) and has real time demo account for real money-account holders

    1 pip or tick is from 1.2540 to 1.2541 so ticks means price improvment not gain improvment. if you trade 1 contract or 1000, 1 tick is 1 tick
