Wareagle, MT4 is down now so I can't load the alpari quote feed. I will try again on Monday. I don't understand how a few hours of data, not at the time of pivot calculation can affect the pivot price. Strange

Wait until Monday...sometimes I don't have a clear indication until 1 day after my system signals an entry. The market is clearly trying to bottom but the upward thrust has been too much too soon. My system cycle is on a buy mode, but price has yet to confirm. That is why there isn't a stop yet.

I'm going to stick with the pivot/ 4/8ths unless it changes drastically. Honestly, this is a work in progress. I think its best to stay with the trend if a reversal is indeed established by the trade. That's why these autotrendlines are so interesting. So, perhaps what I should do is adjust...

I start my pivots at 10am based on the time of the strategybuilderfx build of metatrader 4. This is an approach I mentioned a few pages ago. Most pivots are counted from the close of trading. These pivots are drawn based on the first expected volatile time of the day. I don't understand the math...

for the more esoteric features many people prefer ensign as its more popular for "alternative" chart watchers. Still, the neonatal stuff is really heady and its hard to find those astrological type charting features anywhere.

so far today, pretty damn good on the mm/pivot system. AUD and CAD both easily made profits while CHF got stopped out. However there has already been another trade on CHF that reached the 5/8ths and almost hit 4/8ths in only 30 minutes...
